NEW YORK, NY (November 22, 2024) — Today, multiplatinum artist, superstar DJ, and elite producer Martin Garrix joins forces with rising electronic pop songstress Jex on a new joint single entitled “Told You So” out now via STMPD RCRDS/Eddie O Entertainment/Casablanca Records.

Garrix kickstarts the track with pulsating synths uplifted by soaring strings. Locking into a head-nodding groove, a prominent bass thump underlines Jex’s arresting melodies. Hypnotic verses break like a wave on a dramatic drop as she laments, “Don’t wanna hear my heart say, ‘I told you so’.”  The dynamic pairing on “Told You So” came about via TikTok, where Jex posted a video of her singing the song’s vocal hook. This post caught the attention of Garrix, who then immediately reached out to produce the track. 

On the new collaboration, Garrix comments, “working on this together with Jex was an absolute dream and I can’t wait to share it with the world!” Jex adds, “From writing this hook alone in my apartment, to Martin finding it and bringing it to life, this entire thing has been a dream come true. “Told You So” is so authentic & special, and I am stoked for it to finally be out in the world.”

Martin Garrix has officially dropped his long-awaited collaboration ‘’Gravity’’ with longtime friend and fellow Dutch DJ/producer Sem Vox. Featuring vocals from rising talent Jaimes, who could also be heard on ‘’Empty’’, ‘’Gravity’’ already become a fan favorite after its premiere at Ultra Music Festival Miami earlier this year and earned a permanent spot in Garrix’s festival sets over the summer.

The collaboration between Garrix and Sem Vox is more than just sonically —it’s the culmination of years of friendship and creative synergy. The two artists have worked together behind the scenes for over a decade, often playing back-to-back sets in their early days as aspiring DJ/producers.

Martin Garrix & Carolina Liar Release Summer Anthem "Smile"

Martin Garrix’s contender for Song of the Summer is here! His brand new indie meets pop/dance single ‘’Smile’’ features the vocals of Carolina Liar, who is also known for being a part of The Federal Empire.

The song made its grand debut during Garrix's four sold-out shows at the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, where Carolina Liar joined him on stage for three unforgettable live performances.

Carolina Liar shares more about the creation process of the song: “Smile” is the only way I can describe my emotions when I think about the creation of this song. I got my band name, Carolina Liar because no one would believe where my life takes me, and this is one of those moments. Within 72 hours, we recorded the song at a legendary Sunset Strip recording studio and embarked on a road trip from Hollywood to Vegas while shooting the music video with a temperamental vintage car that died, leaving the film crew stranded in the desert. Somehow, they made it in time to capture the Friday night live show. We danced through two of Martin’s shows and finished the adventure with Martin sitting in with Zedd at Omnia. Honestly, we could have made a movie out of all the adventures in those three days. I can’t listen to the song without smiling from the memories surrounding its creation!’’

With its uplifting melodies and feel-good lyrics, "Smile" is the perfect soundtrack for summer. The song's message, centered around doing "anything to make you smile," offers plenty of room for personal interpretation.

This release marks another successful collaboration between Garrix and Carolina Liar, who previously teamed up on "Hold On & Believe." The official music video, releasing in a couple

of days, features both artists in a story arch that has them hitchhiking to make it to their Las Vegas performance on time.

Martin Garrix Releases Biochemical With Seth Hills

Premiered at Ultra Miami 2023 as the intro song, it set the tone for the rest of Garrix’s ID-filled show. Hot on the heels of the release of ‘’Carry You’’, Martin Garrix is surprise dropping another highly anticipated ID from his live shows, this time "Breakaway," alongside childhood friend and exceptional producer Mesto. The vocals by WILHELM add the cherry on top of the infectious track. 

‘’Breakaway’’, originally premiered as an electrifying ID at Ultra Miami 2023. It is a euphoric masterpiece that captures the unmistakable synergy between Martin Garrix and Mesto. The childhood friends, known for their seamless collaboration, have once again combined their talents to deliver a dynamic track.

Mesto: ‘’The making of Breakaway has got to be one of the most fun projects Martin and I have worked on together so far. After he premiered an early version of the song at Ultra Miami, we’ve both played it throughout the summer and hearing the crowd sing along to the melodies was truly crazy. 

It was only a few weeks ago we decided to finish the song, and when we did, we couldn’t stop adding stuff to it. Every time we thought it was finished, one of us added an element which made the track 100x cooler, haha. That’s why it’s always a pleasure working with Marty! On top of that Wilhelm did a great job on the vocals which was the final finishing touch. I hope you guys will love the track as much as we do!’’

"Hero" explores a new side of the ever-diverse Garrix, with a mysterious, ominous, pumping sound where JVKE’s vocals perfectly blend in.

In collaboration with Nuverse, Second Dinner and MARVEL Entertainment, today superstar DJ/Producer, Martin Garrix, and multi-talented viral singer, songwriter, and producer JVKE released their new MARVEL SNAP anthem track ‘Hero’, supported by a superhero-studded animated music video. In this mind-melding adventure video, inspired by the hit game, MARVEL SNAP, epic Marvel love stories are used to explore the trials and tribulations of falling in and out of love.

In the video, JVKE falls deep into thought and imaginative exploration when he gets an all too familiar "Can we talk?" text from his ex-girlfriend, Georgia. Mega-producers Martin Garrix and DallasK join forces with acclaimed singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan on the melodic new single “Loop,”  released via Astralwerks. Throbbing with emotion, the infectious track is an anthem for anyone who’s ever been unable to break free from an endless cycle of break-ups and make-ups. 

The surreal official video for “Loop” finds a woman embarking on what seems to be just another night on the town. As she moves through the busy streets and colorful clubs of Las Vegas, she encounters Garrix and DallasK on the dreamy journey. But each time the night seems at an end, she finds herself back where she started and the evening begins again, leaving her hopelessly stuck in a loop.

“I have been playing this song in my sets for quite some time now and the crowds’ responses have been great. I loved working with Dallas and I’m super stoked to finally release this one!”

DallasK adds, “‘Loop’ is the long-time coming collaboration between Martin Garrix and myself. We met forever ago and I remixed his single ‘in the name of love’ in 2016. ‘If We’ll Ever Be Remembered’, the second release on the album with Shaun Farrugia’s vocals, is the deserving capstone of ‘Sentio’. The radio-friendly track can surely be expected to blast everywhere throughout the summer of ’22.

‘’I was sitting on so much club music, and after the lockdowns, it felt like people wanted to party and get their spirits lifted again. The album features some radio-friendly songs, but it’s mostly the more aggressive Garrix club sound. I didn’t want people to have to wait for the high-quality versions after Ultra for too long, which is why we decided to drop them weekly after the set. I’m super excited all the tracks are finally out for everyone to listen to. My first album is a fact!’’

An energetic track with a slightly dark twist

Starting off as a new remix for 'In The Name Of Love' during his live sets, Garrix loved the track so much that he decided to turn it into a full version. Calling in help from his friend Blinders, who couldn’t be left out of the 'Sentio' album, the end result is an energetic track with a slightly dark twist.

As one of the most requested IDs after his Ultra Music Festival Miami set, ‘Quantum’ quickly became a fan favorite after the first live spins. In true Garrix and Brooks fashion, the track is an outstanding banger with an infectious drop.

The observant viewer could have already seen the two were spending time in the studio together on social media, and now the end result is finally there for everyone to listen to.

Teaming up with Vluarr for the first time, the pair prove to be an excellent combination. The bouncy track has an exciting and irresistible groove that makes you want to get up on your feet immediately. His recent Instagram post, which shows a video of him playing the track in Buenos Aires, is a testament to just that.

It was about time Martin Garrix and Mesto got back into the studio together

With their last original collaboration already stemming from 2016, it was about time Martin Garrix and Mesto got back into the studio together to create a new track. Taking us back in time, ‘Limitless’ has a nostalgic feel to it, while still sounding fresh. Premiered during his live shows over the last weekends, ‘Limitless’ had the crowd going crazy accompanied by a visual spectacle.

The long-awaited and highly requested collaboration

‘Follow’ is a true club banger and marks the perfect start of the ’22 festival season, while also setting the tone for what Garrix will have in store this year. The thumping track pays homage to both Garrix and Zedd’s signature sounds while also making room for singer-songwriter Emily Warren’s sultry vocals halfway through.

The release is accompanied by an official music video that showcases a high paced energetic visual that features both artists.

Maintaining a close friendship over the last couple of years, the collaboration has been long overdue with Garrix and Zedd talking about doing a song together for nine years. Understandably, the hype around the track started to build massively over the past couple of weeks after serious teasing from both sides. Fans who attended Garrix’s show at Lollapalooza Chile last week were in for a treat, while he premiered the track while FaceTiming Zedd. 

After being friends for over 10 years it was about time Zedd and I released our first song called Follow, which is out now on STMPD RCRDS!

Just in time for the end of the year, Martin Garrix is back with a treat to kick off the Holiday Season with a bang, releasing his long-awaited collaboration with Matisse & Sadko and John Martin: ‘Won’t Let You Go’.

Played as the opening track of his first sets after the pandemic, including Electric Love and Creamfields, the track quickly became a fan favorite. Proven to be a golden combination before, Garrix is teaming up with both Matisse & Sadko and John Martin again. Garrix already worked with Matisse & Sadko on classics such as ‘Together’, ‘Hold On’ and ‘Forever’, while John Martin joined him on ‘Higher Ground’ and ‘ Now That I’ve Found You’. 

Combining the best of all worlds, Garrix and Matisse & Sadko’s production signatures perfectly blend with John Martin’s heartfelt vocals while the lyrics talk about not ever letting go of the one you love the most. The euphoric hook gives ‘Won’t Let You Go’ a massive festival feel which is exactly where it deserves to be played.

AREA21 have released their long-awaited debut album Greatest Hits Vol. 1. The album is a culmination of not only the 12 songs written, produced and performed by acclaimed DJ/producer Martin Garrix and Producer/songwriter Maejor, who between them have worked with some of music’s biggest artists including Bono, G-Eazy, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa and Khalid, but also a global visual project in the form of a series of videos by award-winning animation studio Titmouse, Inc. (Dua Lipa, Run the Jewels) which took 9 months to complete, with work by 60 artists from 10 countries. This album also marks the first album release by AREA21 co-creator Garrix. 

Maejor: ‘’It was really important for us to have a full body of work because there’s so much stylistic range on the album. I feel like if we had the pressure to compress it into something smaller, it wouldn’t have worked.’'

Martin Garrix: ‘’I’ve never released this many songs before at the same time, so I’m nervous about it. But that nervousness gets overshadowed by excitement, adrenaline and passion. This project means so much to us both musically and conceptually. I’ve had some of the best moments of my life working on these songs and we can’t wait to finally share them with the world.’’

Over the past 9 months, AREA21 have released a series of songs and videos detailing the interstellar adventures of Garrix and Maejor’s alien alter egos, M & M, with a narrative that tackled some of life’s biggest questions and transformed them into music that’s thought-provoking and relatable. In fact, it was M & M who inspired the album title.  Notes Maejor, “When the aliens first came to Earth, all of their favorite albums had the title ‘Greatest Hits.’ They didn’t know you were supposed to have many albums out before you made a greatest hits album.” Greatest Hits Vol. 1  includes previous releases such as “La La La,” “Lovin’ Every Minute,” “Own The Night” and “Followers,” but also sends 6 brand new tracks into the stratosphere including the lead single and latest in the series of animated videos ‘Time Machine.’

In ‘Time Machine’ they contemplate going back to relive simple moments of their youth, but in the end realize that enjoying life in the moment is most important. The video mirrors this sentiment with a wistful look back at alien travelers M & M’s early years as well as a recap of their journey so far here on earth and features the characters they’ve met along the way including a Marvel-style group shot at the end as the M & M spaceship takes off.  Where they’re headed will be revealed in the next chapter. In “Own The Night,” written by real life artists Martin Garrix and Maejor,  the alien duo have found their way to Hollywood and as portrayed in the video, are struck by the many masks that humans put on to conform to society’s norm. The track is incredibly catchy, but also carries a sense of social awareness, which is exactly what AREA21 are trying to transmit through their music.

"I’m really happy we finally get to release this one!’’

Martin Garrix has teamed up with fellow DJ/producer Julian Jordan and British rapper Tinie for his first club banger in almost a year: ‘Diamonds ’. While experimenting with a lot of different sounds the past year, Garrix reassured fans that he was still working on hard-hitting festival music, but was waiting to get back on stage to release these. After premiering ‘Diamonds’ at his first show in 1,5 years, the song caused a major buzz on social media and quickly found itself among the most anticipated IDs from his set.

Starting as a first demo between Jordan and Garrix, the latter proposed to also include Tinie on the track. 

Julian Jordan: ‘’While working on ‘Diamonds’ I got a call from Martijn in the middle of the night; he had the idea of putting Tinie on the track. I rushed to his house and we finished the demo together that night. A few weeks later Tinie came to Amsterdam to record the vocals and the session was so much fun. 

Diamonds is a track that is all about energy, something fresh and new but definitely made for huge crowds. Combine all of this with Tinie’s infectious vocals and a banger is born.’’

Tinie’s rousing raps perfectly complement the hard-hitting energy of the track that marks Garrix’s grand entrance back to the festivals. 

Tinie: "The most precious stones that shine the brightest, come from the darkest places and under the most pressurised conditions. This is the essence behind the lyrics and production that Martin, Julian and I have worked on for 'Diamonds' and have applied to many records over the years. I'm so excited for the world to hear what we have been cooking up."

Martin Garrix: ‘’I missed being on stage so much, and finally playing this track in front of a crowd during my first shows in almost two years felt insane. To also have both Julian and Tinie join me on stage to perform the track was so special. I’m really happy we finally get to release this one!’’

The accompanying music video (which will premiere around 2PM CEST today) displays the festival energy the track breathes, with artistic live performance moments from various festivals including Creamfields and Untold Festival shot on film. Delivering the heat as promised, ‘Diamonds’ was surely worth the wait.

Detailed in AREA21’s music and visuals, the alien characters M & M have been able to observe humans both from a distance and up close. With the song ‘’Followers’’ they talk about the benefit of living life in real-time instead of becoming mesmerized by their devices.

In the accompanying music video, AREA21 highlight the pressures that can come from living your life through social media and encourage everyone to look up and enjoy the world around them. 

With their previous release ‘’Lovin’ Every Minute,’’ which focused on living in the moment and the importance of human connection, it's starting to become more and more evident that these alien travelers have a message to get across to us humans.

The cover art features light passing from alien to human and represents uplifting another by a simple touch, “With your energy and spirit, you can change someone’s mood just by how you treat them” noted AREA21.  Meanwhile the video takes a look at how M & M are loving every minute of their time here on Earth and hints at what’s ahead for the duo.

The video details M & M’s journey so far – from their accidental crash in the Nevada desert, being chased by the ominous Lady T to partying in Vegas and floating through the Louvre in Paris.  There’s even a hint at what’s to come.

With more songs and videos to come, AREA21 is running at full speed towards their debut album releasing this fall. Since the release of new music in April, AREA21 has amassed over 29M combined streams and a combined social imprint of over 42M.
