"Hero" explores a new side of the ever-diverse Garrix, with a mysterious, ominous, pumping sound where JVKE’s vocals perfectly blend in.

In collaboration with Nuverse, Second Dinner and MARVEL Entertainment, today superstar DJ/Producer, Martin Garrix, and multi-talented viral singer, songwriter, and producer JVKE released their new MARVEL SNAP anthem track ‘Hero’, supported by a superhero-studded animated music video. In this mind-melding adventure video, inspired by the hit game, MARVEL SNAP, epic Marvel love stories are used to explore the trials and tribulations of falling in and out of love.

In the video, JVKE falls deep into thought and imaginative exploration when he gets an all too familiar "Can we talk?" text from his ex-girlfriend, Georgia. Throughout the video, JVKE explores the highs and lows of a relationship through fan favorite Marvel pairs including Spider-Man & Mary Jane, Storm & Black Panther, and Vision & Scarlet Witch. 

‘Hero’ explores a new side of the ever-diverse Garrix, with a mysterious, ominous, pumping sound where JVKE’s vocals perfectly blend in. The song already raised anticipation around the world when Garrix announced its release a couple of weeks ago.

Mega-producers Martin Garrix and DallasK join forces with acclaimed singer-songwriter Sasha Alex Sloan on the melodic new single “Loop,”  released via Astralwerks. Throbbing with emotion, the infectious track is an anthem for anyone who’s ever been unable to break free from an endless cycle of break-ups and make-ups. 

The surreal official video for “Loop” finds a woman embarking on what seems to be just another night on the town. As she moves through the busy streets and colorful clubs of Las Vegas, she encounters Garrix and DallasK on the dreamy journey. But each time the night seems at an end, she finds herself back where she started and the evening begins again, leaving her hopelessly stuck in a loop.

“I have been playing this song in my sets for quite some time now and the crowds’ responses have been great. I loved working with Dallas and I’m super stoked to finally release this one!”

DallasK adds, “‘Loop’ is the long-time coming collaboration between Martin Garrix and myself. We met forever ago and I remixed his single ‘in the name of love’ in 2016. ‘If We’ll Ever Be Remembered’, the second release on the album with Shaun Farrugia’s vocals, is the deserving capstone of ‘Sentio’. The radio-friendly track can surely be expected to blast everywhere throughout the summer of ’22.

‘’I was sitting on so much club music, and after the lockdowns, it felt like people wanted to party and get their spirits lifted again. The album features some radio-friendly songs, but it’s mostly the more aggressive Garrix club sound. I didn’t want people to have to wait for the high-quality versions after Ultra for too long, which is why we decided to drop them weekly after the set. I’m super excited all the tracks are finally out for everyone to listen to. My first album is a fact!’’

An energetic track with a slightly dark twist

Starting off as a new remix for 'In The Name Of Love' during his live sets, Garrix loved the track so much that he decided to turn it into a full version. Calling in help from his friend Blinders, who couldn’t be left out of the 'Sentio' album, the end result is an energetic track with a slightly dark twist.

Already receiving spins during his shows in South America and during Ultra Music Festival, the full version is now out for everyone to enjoy.

Discovering Shaun on TikTok, Garrix reached out to him not long after to create music together. Connecting in the studio immediately, Shaun can also be heard on another 'Sentio' track that will be released soon.

Teaming up with Vluarr for the first time, the pair prove to be an excellent combination. The bouncy track has an exciting and irresistible groove that makes you want to get up on your feet immediately. His recent Instagram post, which shows a video of him playing the track in Buenos Aires, is a testament to just that.

It was about time Martin Garrix and Mesto got back into the studio together

With their last original collaboration already stemming from 2016, it was about time Martin Garrix and Mesto got back into the studio together to create a new track. Taking us back in time, ‘Limitless’ has a nostalgic feel to it, while still sounding fresh. Premiered during his live shows over the last weekends, ‘Limitless’ had the crowd going crazy accompanied by a visual spectacle.

The long-awaited and highly requested collaboration

‘Follow’ is a true club banger and marks the perfect start of the ’22 festival season, while also setting the tone for what Garrix will have in store this year. The thumping track pays homage to both Garrix and Zedd’s signature sounds while also making room for singer-songwriter Emily Warren’s sultry vocals halfway through.

The release is accompanied by an official music video that showcases a high paced energetic visual that features both artists.

Maintaining a close friendship over the last couple of years, the collaboration has been long overdue with Garrix and Zedd talking about doing a song together for nine years. Understandably, the hype around the track started to build massively over the past couple of weeks after serious teasing from both sides. Fans who attended Garrix’s show at Lollapalooza Chile last week were in for a treat, while he premiered the track while FaceTiming Zedd.

Just in time for the end of the year, Martin Garrix is back with a treat to kick off the Holiday Season with a bang, releasing his long-awaited collaboration with Matisse & Sadko and John Martin: ‘Won’t Let You Go’.

Played as the opening track of his first sets after the pandemic, including Electric Love and Creamfields, the track quickly became a fan favorite. Proven to be a golden combination before, Garrix is teaming up with both Matisse & Sadko and John Martin again. AREA21 have released their long-awaited debut album Greatest Hits Vol. 1. The album is a culmination of not only the 12 songs written, produced and performed by acclaimed DJ/producer Martin Garrix and Producer/songwriter Maejor, who between them have worked with some of music’s biggest artists including Bono, G-Eazy, Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa and Khalid, but also a global visual project in the form of a series of videos by award-winning animation studio Titmouse, Inc. (Dua Lipa, Run the Jewels) which took 9 months to complete, with work by 60 artists from 10 countries. This album also marks the first album release by AREA21 co-creator Garrix. 

Maejor: ‘’It was really important for us to have a full body of work because there’s so much stylistic range on the album. I feel like if we had the pressure to compress it into something smaller, it wouldn’t have worked.’'

Martin Garrix: ‘’I’ve never released this many songs before at the same time, so I’m nervous about it. But that nervousness gets overshadowed by excitement, adrenaline and passion. This project means so much to us both musically and conceptually. I’ve had some of the best moments of my life working on these songs and we can’t wait to finally share them with the world.’’

Over the past 9 months, AREA21 have released a series of songs and videos detailing the interstellar adventures of Garrix and Maejor’s alien alter egos, M & M, with a narrative that tackled some of life’s biggest questions and transformed them into music that’s thought-provoking and relatable. In fact, it was M & M who inspired the album title.  Notes Maejor, “When the aliens first came to Earth, all of their favorite albums had the title ‘Greatest Hits.’ They didn’t know you were supposed to have many albums out before you made a greatest hits album.” Greatest Hits Vol. 1  includes previous releases such as “La La La,” “Lovin’ Every Minute,” “Own The Night” and “Followers,” but also sends 6 brand new tracks into the stratosphere including the lead single and latest in the series of animated videos ‘Time Machine.’

In ‘Time Machine’ they contemplate going back to relive simple moments of their youth, but in the end realize that enjoying life in the moment is most important. The video mirrors this sentiment with a wistful look back at alien travelers M & M’s early years as well as a recap of their journey so far here on earth and features the characters they’ve met along the way including a Marvel-style group shot at the end as the M & M spaceship takes off.  Where they’re headed will be revealed in the next chapter. In “Own The Night,” written by real life artists Martin Garrix and Maejor,  the alien duo have found their way to Hollywood and as portrayed in the video, are struck by the many masks that humans put on to conform to society’s norm. The track is incredibly catchy, but also carries a sense of social awareness, which is exactly what AREA21 are trying to transmit through their music.

"I’m really happy we finally get to release this one!’’

Martin Garrix has teamed up with fellow DJ/producer Julian Jordan and British rapper Tinie for his first club banger in almost a year: ‘Diamonds ’. While experimenting with a lot of different sounds the past year, Garrix reassured fans that he was still working on hard-hitting festival music, but was waiting to get back on stage to release these. After premiering ‘Diamonds’ at his first show in 1,5 years, the song caused a major buzz on social media and quickly found itself among the most anticipated IDs from his set.

Starting as a first demo between Jordan and Garrix, the latter proposed to also include Tinie on the track. 

Julian Jordan: ‘’While working on ‘Diamonds’ I got a call from Martijn in the middle of the night; he had the idea of putting Tinie on the track. I rushed to his house and we finished the demo together that night. A few weeks later Tinie came to Amsterdam to record the vocals and the session was so much fun. 

Diamonds is a track that is all about energy, something fresh and new but definitely made for huge crowds. Combine all of this with Tinie’s infectious vocals and a banger is born.’’

Tinie’s rousing raps perfectly complement the hard-hitting energy of the track that marks Garrix’s grand entrance back to the festivals. 

Tinie: "The most precious stones that shine the brightest, come from the darkest places and under the most pressurised conditions. This is the essence behind the lyrics and production that Martin, Julian and I have worked on for 'Diamonds' and have applied to many records over the years. I'm so excited for the world to hear what we have been cooking up."

To also have both Julian and Tinie join me on stage to perform the track was so special. I’m really happy we finally get to release this one!’’

The accompanying music video (which will premiere around 2PM CEST today) displays the festival energy the track breathes, with artistic live performance moments from various festivals including Creamfields and Untold Festival shot on film. Delivering the heat as promised, ‘Diamonds’ was surely worth the wait.

Detailed in AREA21’s music and visuals, the alien characters M & M have been able to observe humans both from a distance and up close. With the song ‘’Followers’’ they talk about the benefit of living life in real-time instead of becoming mesmerized by their devices.

The video details M & M’s journey so far – from their accidental crash in the Nevada desert, being chased by the ominous Lady T to partying in Vegas and floating through the Louvre in Paris.  There’s even a hint at what’s to come.

Exploring a different sound once again, ‘Love Runs Out’ is a fresh hip-hop track with a melodic hook and emotional lyrics that are instantly captivating. G-Eazy’s melodic and catchy signature hip-hop sound and Sloan’s mysterious and sultry vocals perfectly blend in with Garrix’s production where all three artists shine in their own way.

“Mona Lisa” is the latest in the series of music and video releases from AREA21, the multimedia collaboration between Martin Garrix and Maejor portrayed through the eyes of aliens ‘M&M’. 

After their adventures in Vegas, the accompanying video for ‘Mona Lisa’, produced by award-winning animation studio ‘Titmouse’, takes the viewer along on a trip with the aliens to the Louvre in Paris. Floating through outer space, we see their point of view looking down at the flashing lights of cities on earth. 

In the lyrics of the song, the two alien travelers highlight all the things they want with several of these scenarios passing by in the video as well.

AREA21 CONTINUE THEIR JOURNEY ON PLANET EARTH WITH ‘POGO’

Following the release of “La La La,” AREA21’s debut single which has already surpassed 5M combined streams, the adventure continues with the release of ‘Pogo.’ The song exudes the feeling of being completely uninhibited, living life wild and free, which makes it the perfect soundtrack for the coming summer months. Written by Martin Garrix and Maejor, Martin also plays electric guitar on the track, one of the many talents from this multi-faceted artist.

The video for “Pogo” picks up where "La La La" left off with the two alien travelers M & M having crashed landed on earth, standing on their recently crashed spaceship and running from the law. Their escape includes a very unorthodox mode of transportation, a group of unlikely heroes and lands them in the perfect place to get away from it all – Vegas, baby.

I’m very proud of what we did together and excited to finally share it with the world!

With the track in the making for three years, Garrix had felt from the early stages of the creative process that Bono’s vocals would make the perfect fit for ‘We Are the People’. His vision came to life when both Bono and his U2 bandmate The Edge agreed to feature on the song. The collaboration evolved further with Bono writing the lyrics and creating melodies and The Edge adding the leading guitar riffs, resulting in a perfect blend of the signature sounds of all artists.  

Martin Garrix: “Creating the music for one of the biggest sports events in the world together with Bono and The Edge has been an incredible experience. I’m very proud of what we did together and excited to finally share it with the world!”

‘We Are The People’ reminds us that a song can look at the challenges facing the world at a given time and still attempt a unified response. It is a hymn sheet from which we can all sing where ever we may come from, but especially in Europe where the competition will focus the attention of the whole world. ‘We Are The People’ hopes to reflect the positivity, hope, and determination required for any team to succeed, as well as offer a sense of togetherness that fits the theme of UEFA EURO 2020: Unity. For the first time in EURO history, the tournament is being played across the continent, which will display the overriding theme of unity throughout.

Next to the official track, Garrix has also produced the official walkout and broadcast music for the tournament. Releasing on his 25th birthday, the song is a testament to his impressive march through the ranks of the music industry so far. Every UEFA EURO Championship since 1992 has had an official song with the likes of Nelly Furtado, Simply Red, and Enrique Iglesias providing the tournament’s soundtrack in the past.

Amsterdam, Baku, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome, Saint Petersburg, and Seville will all host matches this summer with the first match kicking off at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on 11 June 2021 with Turkey facing Italy. The final will take place at Wembley Stadium, London on 11 July 2021.

Their adventures are portrayed musically and visually throughout a series of songs and accompanying animated videos by award-winning animation studio, Titmouse, and will shine a light on human behavior and our interactions here on Earth from their viewpoint. 

The first outing, “La La La,” released today shows the alien travelers beaming up unhappy people into their spaceship for an impromptu intergalactic party, using music to unite and uplift their mood. The end of the video sees them accidentally crashing the spaceship on planet Earth where the real adventure begins. 

“La La La” speaks to the importance of being your true self, following your voice and choosing your path from a place of dreaming and wonder, not fear, while the lyrics celebrate being different and blocking out the negativity:

Martin Garrix has kept his fans full of anticipation while waiting for his new single. The time has finally come, and his first release of 2021 goes by the name of ‘Pressure’. ‘Pressure’ sees him team up with Stockholm-born and Los Angeles-based songstress Tove Lo.

With ‘Pressure’ Garrix is heading into a slightly different direction, with fresh, deeper sounds dominating throughout the track. Tove Lo’s edgy vocals and catchy lyrics perfectly complement the groovy track. Always looking for ways to innovate, Garrix has been showcasing his diversity last year as well with deeper releases from his alias Ytram. No stranger to the dance floor or the pop charts, “Pressure” is a club ready banger and also Tove Lo’s first release of 2021. Her signature wit and seductive lyrics are the perfect compliment to Garrix’s production on the track. Tove elaborates;

"This track hit me in all the right places and I really wanted to be a part of it. It’s cool that it’s a slightly new direction for both me and Garrix! Lyrically it’s all about destructive passion and lack of self control. Which feels amazing until it drives you crazy. I’m very excited for this to be our first collab, I hope all our fans feel it!"

The release is accompanied by a music video shot on film. The video takes the viewer on a tense ride of the main character’s blood-curdling search for her vision.

During last year’s lockdown, Garrix has had lots of time to work on new music, with the DJ/producer stating he ‘’can’t wait to share with his fans what he’s been working on’’. This first release, as well as his one billion Spotify streams accolade for ‘In The Name of Love’, sure set the tone for 2021 which is just getting started for him.

Since awakening his alias Ytram for the first release this year, Martin Garrix has been on a roll with the musical output from his moniker. Just in time for the end of the year he releases ‘Alive’. 

‘Alive’ sees him team up with Citadelle, a brand new DJ duo from France. Their sound perfectly fits the deeper output Ytram has been showcasing throughout the year. 

A derivative of 'Alive' will also serve as the official title track for his good friend, Dutch F1 driver Max Verstappen’s documentary; Whatever It Takes (note: this documentary is available exclusively in The Netherlands at this time). Perfectly complementing the spectacular racing images, the track takes the viewer on a ride and allows them to feel the adrenaline showcased throughout the documentary. 

‘Alive' follows the release of ‘Fire’ with Elderbrook in September. Keep an eye out for more exciting news from Garrix in 2021 as he is gearing up for some serious announcements..

Ytram serves up ‘Fire’ with Elderbrook

Martin Garrix is gearing up for a brand new track under his alias Ytram. ‘Fire’ sees him collaborate with UK sensation Elderbrook. 

‘Fire' got its premiere almost a month ago when Martin Garrix closed the mainstage of the virtual Tomorrowland Around The World edition and played this brand new track. The exciting ID set tongues wagging right away, with some of his closest fans immediately recognizing the new Ytram sound. ‘Fire' explores the many different layers both artists have to them, and Elderbrook’s mesmerizing vocals make for a perfect combination with Ytram’s deeper house sounds. 

	Garrix: ''I got introduced to Elderbrook’s music by a good friend and immediately loved his sound. I was listening to it non-stop during my holidays, when he actually reached out to me via Instagram after one of his tracks ended up in my stories. It was all super fluent and organically, which I love. We just hit it off and this was the end result.'' 

Ytram’s music hits a different path for Garrix, who has been a frequent explorer of new sounds, always looking for ways to innovate and challenge himself. However, the collaboration with Elderbrook has developed as a natural surprise to everyone, including the artists themselves. Spontaneously coming together, Elderbrook reached out to Garrix after he heard his music in one of Garrix's instagram stories. A series of conversations led to the artists working on some music together and creating ‘Fire' in the two weeks after.

	Elderbrook: "Martin is someone I have always been a fan of and during lockdown I saw him post a clip of my song Numb, so I reached out to him to see if he wanted to work on something together. It was at the height of lockdown and we had to work back and forth on the song over zoom. We have still not met each other yet which is a crazy thought, but we do have a great song and cannot wait for everyone to hear this.”

Ytram releases first ever track ‘Make You Mine’ with Bleu Clair

Premiered in Martin Garrix’s radio show, ‘Make You Mine’, is the first Ytram release to see the light of day. Collaborating with one of the most exciting talents of the moment, Indonesian producer Bleu Clair, the track also features vocals from RA.

‘Make You Mine’ explores a tech house groove with a grotesk appeal on which RA’s vocals can shine fully. The result is a track that is easy on the ears and has a lot of instant hit potential. 

Ytram debuted in 2017 at Tomorrowland where he played a special deep/tech house set on the STMPD RCRDS stage. Almost three years after this moment, the first release has finally seen the light of day. 

Blue Clair can be best described as a rising star on the scene. Releasing his STMPD RCRDS debut ‘Need U’ just two months ago, he’s now showing he has lots more up his sleeve. ‘Make You Mine’ is just one more example of why he is one to keep your eyes on.

Nothing short of an instant Garrix classic

After lots of teasing and suspense, Martin Garrix treats his fans on his birthday with the release of his brand new track ‘Higher Ground’. ‘Higher Ground’ sees him reuniting with John Martin, who he previously worked with on ‘Now That I’ve Found You’.

Nothing short of an instant Garrix classic, John Martin’s bright vocals perfectly complement the overall uplifting sound of the track, proving that the two are still a successful combination. No stranger to collaborations, John Martin’s voice also gained worldwide recognition after being featured on tracks such as ‘Don’t You Worry Child’ and ‘Save The World’. 

'Higher Ground' illustrates the story of going through hard times, but finding your way back up and eventually feeling happy and alive again. Even though the lyrics were written back in October last year, they are fitting for the time and place the world is in right now, providing words of hope and optimism.

'Higher Ground' could be heard in its full state for the first time during Garrix’s livestream from his rooftop. The release is accompanied by an official music video which was made with the help of fans from all over the world.
