Kicking off 2020 with the beautiful sound of ‘Drown
Premiered October 2013 at the DJ Mag awards in Amsterdam, the collaboration between the amazing Dimitri Vegas, Martin Garrix and Like Mike ‘Tremor’ has been finished and is finally released on Spinnin’ Records!
The duo known as Like Mike & Dimitri Vegas have paired up with the young heart-throb House producer Martin Garrix. The three Spinnin’ Records signees will release a song together titled “Tremor” which is set to drop April 21st through Spinnin’. Introing in with glitched vocals and a subtle House lead, “Tremor” builds up and breaks into a Big Room House verse bringing the House lead to life layered with a monster 4/4 timed kick.
As if we weren’t thrilled enough with DIMITRI VEGAS & LIKE MIKE and MARTIN GARRIX’s release of “Tremor” yesterday, we can now pair the incredible track with the “Tremor” Official Music Video. As one would expect, the music video delivers an intense energy that flows with the song perfectly. The “Tremor” music video consists of clips of the talented artists performing at large festivals and clips of the crowds going insane. There isn’t much color to be found throughout the video, and the black and white images add to the video’s intensity. With the song on full blast and video on full screen, it almost feels as if you’re right there with the artists.
Having debuted at number 30 on the UK Singles Chart, ‘Tremor’ would go on to become the official anthem of Sensation 2014, as well as charting in 7 other countries. On top of this, the track debuted at #5 on The Beatport Electro House chart on 22 April, before reaching the #1 spot, just 2 days later, where it would remain for a further 2 weeks.
To this day, ‘Tremor’ still makes its way into countless mainstage sets. As thousands of festival-goers simultaneously chant the drop’s main melody, fans quickly remember the track’s impact on the EDM world, upon its release, many years before.
